Top o' the mornin'!
I was SOOOO excited when I opened my mailbox yesterday - my LAC ATTACK order arrived! I have had my eye one one of these glitter for MONTHS, and every time I tried to buy it, it sold out within 10 minutes of the restock! But I finally landed it! (and may have bought two of them to last me forever...)
Lac Attack polishes are hand-blended using lacquer base, glitters, and cosmetic-approved pigments. All glitters are extensively tested for color fastness in base. None of the polishes contain the Big 3: toulene, formaldehyde, or dibutyl phthalate. They are all cruelty free and not animal tested.
All manicures were topped off with one coat of Out The Door.
First up we have Bad Moon Rising, which is matte red, teal, and green glitters in a clear base. I layered it over one coat of 10 Professional Nail Lacquer 465 Starstruck. (I didn't come up with this awesome combo myself - I saw how awesome it looked swatched by Glitta Gloves and I had to give it a shot!)
Next up is a brand new polish by Anastasia from Lac Attack from her spring collection. Cherry Blossom Bloom is a glitter to celebrate, well, the blooming of cherry blossoms in the spring! It features a clear base with white hexes and rectangles, with two sizes of fuschia circle glitter. I layered this beauty over two coats of Confetti Cosmetics 071 Belle of the Ball.
And finally, my crown jewel, my perfect little bottle that I have been trying to get a hold of for months and months and months: Lac Attack's WEASLEY'S WIZARD WHEEZES from Lac Attack's Magical Musings collection! I can't stand how adorable this glitter is! This one is named for the joke shop two of the best characters (Fred and George Weasley) started up in Harry Potter. That store sounds like the happiest place ever, no lie. It is filled to the brim with every prank or fun magical object you could possibly imagine! It is a mixture of orange and yellow matte glitter – multiple hex sizes and even some thin orange bars! Here it is shown over two coats of Essie In the Cab-ana from their resort collection. I saw this color combo swatched by The Nailasaurus and knew I had to try this one out!
Which is your favorite? Do you have any suggestions for different base colors that would go well with these glitters? I can't wait to get more! Lac Attack has SO many amazing glitter combos!
