Monday Blues: Some Fun Polka Dots!

Yay for another Monday Blues mani!

Today I have a very pretty mani (if I do say so myself!) with some simple dots.  I love it!

I started off, as always, with my Rimmel base coat. My base color is two coats of Revlon's Dreamer.  Of course I didn't want to wait for that to dry, so I applied one coat of Out The Door.  This is my new go-to top coat, because unfortunately I have been noticing bubbling from my other NYC extra shiny top coat. :-(

Next, I used my largest dotting tool to put random polka dots on each nail using NYC's French White Tip, and had to force myself to sit still while the dots dried, since the top coat would have left my nails streaky if I didn't wait! Did I mention I have no patience? ;-) Once the dots were totally dry, I applied another coat of Out The Door to finish the look!

I was tempted to stamp darker blue hearts over it, but I was scared I would ruin the manicure. What do you guys think? Should I try the stamping and post a little snippet of what it looks like?

Not as pretty under artificial light - but I love this little rock I'm holding! :-)

Lastly: Don't forget to enter my new GIVEAWAY brought to you by Miss Mani Monster and myself! Lots of nail goodies up for grabs, plus a designer coach keychain!
