I hope everybody had a FABULOUS Memorial Day Weekend! Being a Jersey girl, you know where I was: The Jersey Shore! :-) It was a muuuuch needed vacation!
Today I have three polishes from Mod Lacquer to show you. Here is a little note from Jennifer, the owner of the shop:
"I personally hand blend all the nail polish sold in this shop with the intention of creating unique and beautiful designs. Nail polish is one of my life passions, and my goal is to share my passion with as many people as possible." Very sweet!
First up is my surprise favorite: Lightning Lime - a bright lime green with gold shimmer. I normally am NOT a green polish girl - I stay away from it; but I seriously can't get enough of this one! Maybe it is the slight hint of gold that has stolen my heart. Whatever it is, I love it! Shown is 2 coats of Lightning Lime topped off with one coat of Out The Door.

Next up I have another shimmering duochrome beauty: Moonbeam. The primary color is a bright blue that shifts to purple. I used three coats for the sake of this swatch, but you could most certainly get away with two coats. I also topped this one off with one coat of Out The Door.
Finally, we have Pink Fallout - a neon pink and black glitter polish in a clear base. The glitters in here come in a variety of sizes and shapes, including some super cute and tiny black bars. :-) Here are some pictures of it layered over different colors for comparison, topped off again with one coat of Out The Door.

The application for all three of these polishes was very easy. Lightning Lime and Moonbeam went on very, very smoothly, with no streaking or bald spots. Pink Fallout required no fishing, as every dip of the brush came up with plenty of glitter to go around!
