Happy Weekend, everybody!
I have a guest post today from Emily, better known as The Lacquerologist! Emily's blog was one of the first nail blogs I started following when my nail polish craze started a few months ago. She posts all the time, and her manis NEVER disappoint. Check out this amazing mani she did just for me to post here on my blog!
Hello Lacquer: The Best Medicine readers! I am thrilled that Ariel asked me to be a guest blogger for her! Ariel has a great blog going here, and I love her nail art creations. =) Today I have a funky contrast manicure to share with you! Let's take a look...
I started out with two coats of Wet N Wild Wild Shine French White on my nails. I love this white polish; it's cheap, quality and readily-available! I then did a splatter manicure using the five shades from Barielle's Brilliant Colors Collection: Barielle Magna Cum Laude Turquoise, Barielle Smarty Pants Pink, Barielle Straight A Coral, Barielle High Marks Purple, and Barielle Head of the Class Green. To see my tutorial on splatter manicures, click [here]! I then used Wet N Wild Wild Shine Black Creme and my dotting tool to create a polka dot accent nail and add a black dot at the base of each nail. I think this dot ties all the nails together quite nicely, and I love the contrast of the bold Barielle shades with black and white! I sealed everything in with Out the Door top coat (my favorite!).
Splatters and polka dots are two of the easiest nail art techniques that you can do with supplies you probably already have around your house. I'm sure you can create this look at home! Will you try it?
Follow my blog [here] and my Facebook [here]! I'd love to share all of my nail art and swatches with you! Thanks so much to Ariel for having me here today...I can't wait to have you on The Lacquerologist soon!! **Barielle products in this post were provided to The Lacquerologist for previous review**
AMAZING! Thanks again, Emily! Please make sure you all head over to her blog and check out the hundreds of amazing manis and reviews she has done, along with some awesome tutorials!
Until next time!
