Glitterfied Nails: Swatches & Review

Press Sample

Good Morning, Lacquerbeanz!

I have some super lovely polishes to show you just in time for Autumn. :)

In the spirit of football season, Glitterfied Nails has created a Team Spirit Line so we can all show off our favorite team or school colors! Best of all: If you don't see your team's colors, just shoot them a message and they'll create one just for you!

Glitterfied Nails polishes are 3-free, solvent resistant, and hand-crafted.

There are many, many polish in this line, so I encourage you to check them all out! I have two to show you today. First up is Touchdown, with multiple sizes of orange, brown, white, and holographic glitter hexes and squares in a clear glitter suspension base. These swatches show one layer of Touchdown over Sally Hansen Almost Almond [you can find swatches for Almost Almond here]. I love this combination of glitter; it's perfect not only for all you Cleveland Browns fans out there, but it's perfect for Fall, as well! I topped everything off with KBShimmer Clearly On Top for some shine.

The second polish I am going to show you is called Time Out. This glitter topper has multiple sizes of red and white glitters in squares and hexes, and it also has some small gold hexes sprinkled in. Red and white are the colors of my alma mater, Montclair State University! I layered one coat of Time Out over Priti NYC Italian Alder, and again topped it off with KBShimmer Clearly On Top for some extra shine! I had no problems with application for either of these polishes; no fishing required, and lots of glitter with each dip of the brush!

The next two polishes are some great fall lacquers. First up is Carnelian. I normally would go on to describe the color of the polish, but this name pretty much sums it up! It very closely resembles the color of the Carnelian Gemstone. This polish has some nice shimmer in it, and application was fairly easy; as with most shimmery/metallic polishes, you need to give it some time to dry in between coats to avoid dragging. Swatches show two coats plus topcoat. :)

The last polish I have for you today is Ablaze: Lots of gold, red, orange, and coppery-brown glitter in a clear base. It reminds me so much of the falling leaves! Swatches show two coats of Ablaze over two coats of Carnelian. Oh, and of course I sealed it all in with topcoat!

DOCTOR'S ORDERS: Go team, go! Head over to Glitterfied Nails' Etsy Shop and find the colors of your favorite team to show some team spirit!
