Good Morning, Lacquerbeanz!
I have five awesome polishes today from Me.Lissa Lacquer to show you! Me.Lissa Lacquer is an indie nail polish brand - all polishes are hand blended and are always 3-free. Both full sizes ($8.50 USD) and minis ($4.50 USD) are available to purchase from her Etsy Shop.
First up I have Joker Here, from the Comic Book Nerds collection. Inspired by the best Batman villain of all time, it has black, white, green and red glitter of different sizes and shapes in a purple jelly base. I used three coats to build this beauty up to squishy opacity, but I am sure it would look great layered over a purple creme as well. This polish is on the thicker side, so definitely make sure you wait a bit in between coats. All swatches are with topcoat.
Haha Harley is another polish from the Comic Book Nerds collection. Inspired by the Joker-loving, DC super villain, this glitter topper is packed with black, white, and red glitter of different sizes and shapes. There are hexes, squares, bars and even black diamond glitter to represent her famous costume. No complains about application for this one, and I love the mix of glitters! Swatches below show one coat of Haha Harley over Zoya ..... something. I forget the name of the polish and I am too lazy to go look. =P
101 Spots is from the Favorite Fairy Tale collection, inspired by 101 Dalmatians. It's an awesome mix of different sized matte black and white "spot" glitter. The dot and hex glitters come in all sizes, from micro to large, to look like a Dalmatian's coat. The formula was great on this one, and I think it's my new favorite black and white glitter topper! Swatches show one coat of 101 Spots over Sally Hansen I Lilac You.
Oh, Cruella is also part of the Favorite Fairy Tale collection, inspired of course by the woman everybody loves to hate, Cruella De Vil from 101 Dalmatians! It is an awesome mix of different sized matte black, white and red hexes and squares in a clear base. It also has some black and white circular "spot" glitter. Application was good for this glitter topper - a little bit on the thicker side, but nothing too hard to handle! =) Swatches show two coats of Oh, Cruella over POP beauty Pink Popsicle.
Finally, we have Colors Of The Wind from the Favorite Fairy Tale collection. Inspired by the beautiful song from Pocahontas, it's a very light, airy looking glitter topper. It is a lovely mix of different sized iridescent hexes and squares in a clear base. The iridescent glitters flash between blue, purple, green, pink, yellow and orange when in the light. My only complaint about this one is that it is a little bit too thick, but that can easily be fixed with a few drops of polish thinner (which I keep forgetting to buy!). Swatches below show two dabbed coats of Colors Of The Wind over Sally Hansen Trouble Maker.
