Today I have four polishes to share with you from Starry Earth, a cute little indie polish Etsy shop I discovered a few months ago.
First up we have So Get This: a glitter polish that's densely packed with blue, red and green microglitter. And when I say dense, I mean DENSE! There is tons of glitter in this baby! I layered one coat of it over a navy blue polish, but you could probably achieve the same look with two or three coats alone. This dries to an amazing satin finish, and it went on like butter. LOVE this!
Next we have He Wants Me For My Body: A delicate glitter topper with various sizes of white glitters (micro glitter, hexes, and bars) with a little bit of metallic red hexes sprinkled throughout. I loved this one, too! Swatches below show one coat of He Wants Me For My Body over Sally Hansen Arm Candy, topped with G&G HK Girl. The formula was a tiny bit thick on this one, but that was fine because the glitter stayed nicely suspended in the polish.
Next up is a polish that is not Ariel-like at all, but I ended up really liking it. It's called Pig N A Poke and it is a hunter green base with loads of gorgeous gold shimmer, and it even has some added blue holo glitters in there that really sparkle when the sun hits! Formula was great for this polish, and swatches show three coats of Pig N A Poke topped with G&G HK Girl.
The last polish I have to show you is Dirty Trenchcoat. This polish is not my cup of tea (mostly because I am not a fan of metallic polishes), but it's still pretty. It's a metallic khaki base with blue flakes and black and blue glitters. Application was OK - as with most metallic polishes, you have to be very careful to avoid bald spots.
