Happy Hump Day, Lacquerbeanz!

It's chilly and a little bit snowy here, but not snowy enough for classes to be canceled. =( I always say go big or go home with snow! If I have to stand outside in the snow and clean off my car, it better be because I'm headed to the mall due to class being canceled!

/end rant. =P

Today I have EIGHT gorgeous Mod Lacquers to show you! They are from a few different collections, all of which are amazing (in my humble opinion!).

First up is Revenant from the Cryptid Collection IRevenant is a bright blue polish with a slight duo-chrome effect that shifts from blue to purple, with a micro fine scattered holo glitter to give a little sparkle. I think Jen really did a great job with this polish. It has just the right amount of sparkle. Application was great - swatches show two coats with HK Girl topcoat.

The next three polishes are from the Cryptid Collectin II. First is Jersey Devil, a sheer black jelly with bright, warm flashes of color popping from various sizes of holo glitter. I absolutely adore this polish! No problems with application, and the colors of the glitters in the black base are totally stunning. Shown here is three thinner coats of Jersey Devil topped with HK Girl.

Thunderbird is another beautiful glitter in a black base. This one has darker holo glitters that flash bright colors when the light hits them. I also used three coats with HK Girl for these swatches. Great formula!

Here we have Sasquatch. I was definitely not thinking that this one would be one of my favorites - but boy, was I wrong! It looks so much more beautiful on the nail! Sasquatch is a warm golden brown that shimmers in the sunlight, but it has a nice depth that fades into darkness in lower light to reveal the gold flakes. Totally gorgeous, and perfect application to boot! Pics show two coats with HK Girl.

This next polish, Radical, is from the Pop Art Collection. Radical is described in Mod Lacquer's Etsy Shop as a bright sheer blue jelly base with bright pink glitter, but to me the glitters look much more coral thann pink. Either way, it's adorable! I used two thicker coats with HK Girl for the swatches below. No problems with application for this one!

The next three polishes are from the core line at Mod Lacquer.

Majestic is a deep plum red shimmer nail polish with a purple haze. The purple haze is more noticeable in direct sunlight, but you can see it a bit indoors, as well. This color did not look great with my skin tone, but it's still a pretty polish. No problems with application; swatches show two coats with HK Girl.

Cherry Fizz is a bright red nail polish that is packed with fine holographic glitter. It really does remind me of the drink! I love how bright and fun this one is. I just may rock it on Christmas! =) Two easy coats with HK Girl shown here.

And finally we have Imperial Serpent! This one is so pretty. It's a sheer purple base nail polish that is loaded with fine holographic glitter. I looove how much holo glitter is in this one. It makes it look so delicious! Swatches below show two easy coats of Imperial Serpent topped with HK Girl.

Mod Lacquer has definitely done it again, folks! I was so happy with all 8 polishes - from the formulae to the color, they are all beautiful!
