The Lady Varnishes | Swatches & Review

Press Sample

Hello Lacquerbeanz, and GOODBYE 2013! I was going to try to put together a "2013 Favorites" post, but let's be honest...ain't nobody got time for that.

Today I have two beautiful polishes from The Lady Varnishes to show you!

First is Mistress of All Evil, which of course refers to Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty. This polish is December's Villain of the Month, one of The Lady Varnishes' collections. Isn't that an awesome idea!? Some may even call the maker, Kirsten, and evil genius! (see what I did there? womp wommmmmpppp) Mistress of All Evil is blackened varnish with a mix of color shifting shimmer and iridescent hexes. It reached opacity very nicely with two coats. Application was great, and I topped it off with my favorite HK Girl topcoat.

The second polish I have today is Radiant Maiden from the Bleak December collection.  Inspired by Edgar Allan Poe's "The Raven", this dusty fuchsia varnish has a mix of blue and gold shimmer and a smattering of scattered holo pigment. This is a beautiful, beautiful polish with another awesome formula. Swatches below show two coats of Radiant Maiden with HK Girl topcoat.

Two beauties! Gram em' while they're in stock, and follow The Lady Varnishes to stay up-to-date on new releases and restocks:
